Nico has been a versatile truck and trailer driver at our company for several years, notably handling equipment transfers.
He values the autonomy and responsibility that this position requires. Patience, logical thinking, and good judgment in every situation are essential qualities for the role.
A thorough knowledge of his vehicle and the entire equipment fleet is necessary to carry out the transfer, loading, and unloading of each machine.
Nico plans his transfer routes by taking into account the dimensions and weight of the heavy equipment transporter to use only the permitted roads.
This job requires flexibility: transfers are often carried out in the morning to ensure the machines are on-site before the teams arrive, and in the evening to move the machines once the work is completed.
Being a heavy equipment driver is, above all, a job driven by passion and without routine!
