Beetroots transport: 30 years of logistics partnership with Cristal Union (Erstein)

For 30 years, we have collaborated every year with Cristal Union’s Erstein site during the sugar beet harvest season!

Our teams are mobilized throughout the entire campaign, with several trucks in rotation to transport the sugar beetroots from the fields to the sugar factory.

1. Safety and Efficiency: Logistics Designed Down to the Last Detail

Everything is designed to ensure smooth operations and maximum safety:

Automatic control at the site entrance and exit
Planned, centralized, and automated operations through dedicated software

skips with automatic doors to guarantee driver safety

2. Beet control, regulation and unloading

Upon arrival on site, loads are randomly sampled. Unloading takes place either in the pit, regulated by a fire system, or in the beet yard when maximum capacity is reached.

And before the start of the campaign, our driver Anthony helps to get the plant up and running, test the reception center and train staff to ensure a smooth launch.
